The OEFFA Heart of Ohio Chapter is excited to announce this meeting paired with a tour of Yellow Barn Farm in Pataskala. About the Yellow Barn Farm:
The Broering family moved to Pataskala, Ohio in 2014 to have more land for gardening and to start raising animals. Each year, they have added a little more to the farm. Their primary goal has been to raise and grow enough food to cover most of their own food needs. Frank has a particular interest in growing foods that are less common (such as artic kiwi and Goji berries!). On October 17, the OEFFA Heart of Ohio chapter members will tour their gardens and chicken barn, and learn about their experience raising pigs for the first time.
